L is for Ladies #AtoZChallenge

We’ve made it to the letter L. How is everyone else doing on this challenge? I need to get a few posts ahead instead of “winging it,” but such is life.

L is for Ladies today. Geeky Ladies. As a geeky female, I find it awesome when I discover other geeky blogs that are run by women. I want to list a few of them below in case you feel like geeking out with them too.

Felicia Day

I believe the first thing I saw Felicia in was Dr. Horrible’s Sing-along blog. If you haven’t seen this movie, please do yourself a favor and get your hands on it NOW. It’s funny, sweet, and has awesome music. Felicia plays Penny who is a wonderful, sweet, woman that Dr. Horrible secretly loves.

If you’ve heard of her before, then you may have read her book. It’s so good. I actually need to write an entire post about just her book, but I’m waiting until her book signing in Milwaukee soon. I’m a LITTLE EXCITED about it. Felicia Day is one of the founders of Geek and Sundry–this website is everything I hope to be someday. It’s great!

The Geeky Hostess

Another awesome geek blog is The Geeky Hostess, created by Tara Theoharis. As with many things, I discovered her through a Kickstarter campaign. She created a line of geeky sprinkles shaped like lightning bolts, blue police boxes, meeples, etc…which are all right up my alley. Since then, I’ve been following her blog and enjoying her videos!

Nerdy Girlie

I enjoy her everyday cosplay ideas and overall geekiness. Check out her website! She has some really fun posts too.

Any geeky blogs I should follow? Put the links below!
